RANV Holiday Party Saturday, December 11th 12-4

The RANV Holiday Party will be Saturday, December 11th 12 Noon until 4PM at the Holy Family Parish Hall, 30 Lincoln Street, Essex Junction. Make plans now!

Safety
This is a topic which has everyone concerned these days. We have taken a number of steps to make this event as safe as possible.

The three main requirements for attendees: We see many people crawl too close to each other in social settings. Be aware of this.

We want to encourage as many RANV members and their spouses/SO's to attend. Let's try to have an event beyond the normal 12 meeting participants.

If you are nervous about health concerns, consider attending for less time, or later during the event, say, around 2PM. If you do decide to come later, let me know and we'll save you food.

As you may know, RANV has had a complete change of officers. At this gathering we will introduce our new slate of officers and also acknowledge the fine work done by our outgoing officers.

RANV also hit another milestone by winning our category in Field Day by a significant margin and placing 5th of ALL Field Day groups in the event. We will have our traditional celebratory chocolate cake for dessert.

The party will occur during the ARRL 10 Meter contest. We will have a small station set up on the veranda. If the band opens, we will be ready to make a few contacts and have fun.

Please go to www.hamclass.net/surpar21.html to let us know if you are attending and what you plan to bring to the event. The club will provide a deli platter and cake. Everyone else brings the rest. This is a great opportunity to wow us with your culinary (or shopping) skills. Be sure to fill out the survey early. As attendees choose items, they will be removed from the list. We ended up with WAY too many desserts last time we did this. We should try to eat a little bit healthy, even if we are celebrating.

Please use the survey to choose items. If you have questions, contact me directly via email or phone.

Let's have a wonderful safe event. All the best for the Holiday Season!
